Study of the horrors of the Holocaust is especially important for medicine since Nazi physicians provided "scientific" legitimization and manpower to the Third Reich's programs of euthanasia, sterilization and extermination.

These points will be discussed in 'Nazi Medicine, the Holocaust, and the Problem of Collective Evil,' a presentation by Dr. Salvatore Mangione with introductory remarks by Hon.
